For direct readings with sliding weight for quick weighing with tripple beam facilities, the balancing weights are permanently secured to the beams, an adjusting screw is provided for levelling the beam which is enclosed in a metal guard to provide protection for the danger of bending or breaking. The balance is fitted on wooden base and is provided with levelling screws.
